Chemo infusion went smoothly. The ice on the roads made it a little treacherous to come in though. I did sign up for the extra taxotere so I have one more chemo left.
I had a new person put in my IV today. She did two tries unsucessfully and blew one of my veins out. I've never seen my vein swell like that. I was quite mad since I still have the remaining Herceptin until Oct and need my veins! I was told by two different people though that it should heal up OK since no chemo was put in.
Taxotere 139 mg
Carboplatin 713 mg
Herceptin 446 mg
I used the cold packs today, too. So far my nails look really great. I heard how they can split down the middle.
