I was behind on pictures. This is from Chemo #6. I have the red bandage because my vein blew out. I still think it was because of the phlebotomist. I'm not sure why the pics came out so dark.
A blown vein has got to hurt, no? It sounds like your vein kinda exploded? Is that what happened? Did you feel it? Does it hurt now (I would imagine that it must throb at the very least).
By the way, I might add, that for someone who just went through her 6th treatment of chemo, and whose vein just blew, you look pretty damn good my dear! I admire how you are always smiling in your photos, even when you're in the hospital, which is usually not a fun place to be.
I might also add that you have got some serious skill drawing in those eyebrows my dear - I wouldn't have known but for the fact that you told us! Lord only knows that when I try to fill in my brows, my mom laughs at me, because they're so OBVIOUS and poorly drawn. I've given up on the brow pencil altogether - I've gone au nautural with the brows.
Jenny, my blown vein didn't hurt more than usual, but right before they bandaged it up, the vein had expanded so that there was an obvious bump on my wrist. There's still a bruise where it happened but no throbbing. Thanks for the compliment! I still have some eyebrows so I have an outline to follow. I think that I'm getting better at drawing them in with each day. I really had no no idea what I was doing in the beginning.
